There are two types of people who buy Star Wars toys: older collectors and kids who actually play with them. Both should be completely satisfied with this Luke and Taun Taun action figure set, as it is both sturdy and full of authentic detail. The details strike you first, like Luke’s removable goggles, scarf, and other accessories. Luke’s holster straps to his body, and the stirrups and Luke’s articulation allow for dramatic poses astride the Taun Taun. There are a few drawbacks: Luke’s weapons don’t fit in his hands securely and the Taun Taun’s unmovable tail and scarce articulation points make the beast hard to pose and prone to tip forward. Overall, though, this set justifies its price tag, with great attention to the details that make these figures come alive. –David Stoesz
